Yorktown Activities Fair

Every fall, Yorktown High School has an Activities Fair during all lunches to allow students to easily become involved in school clubs and activities. For a Strawless Sea had a table at the Activities Fair to entice new members to join our movement, and it was an enormous success! We were able to get the contact information of many students, and almost all of them were present at our club meeting the following week. Although our club works on projects that are mainly outside of Yorktown High School, one of our favorite things about For a Strawless Sea is the endless opportunities to reach out to like-minded students and encourage them to join us and make positive changes in our community.
